South Bay Enrichment Academy

Learn TUSD Curriculum from TUSD Teachers During the Summer

Summer 2019 sign-ups will be here before we know it!

The Summer 2018 sessions of South Bay Enrichment Academy (SBEA) are now concluded. 1,100 students joined us this summer for academic and enrichment activities to further their school graduation requirements and to enjoy exciting summer projects, activities, and camaraderie.

SBEA academic curricula and other programs are designed and instructed by credentialed TUSD teachers. SBEA offers learning opportunities for all grade levels, from incoming Kindergarteners through High School students. Our classes are designed to supplement student learning at the elementary and middle school levels, while providing acceleration and advancement at the high school level.

Founded in 2009 and operated by Torrance Education Foundation, SBEA is a community benefit program open to all school-age South Bay students.

Information about SBEA classes to be offered in 2019 will be available in January, 2019.

To be placed on our mailing list, or for information about our NEW College Prep Academy for High School students, please email your inquiry to SBEA@TorranceEducationFoundation.org.

For questions regarding your student’s past enrollment in SBEA, please contact sbea@torranceeducationfoundation.org or 310-320-7232 x202.

See you next summer!
