Congratulations to Yuka Uzan, the lucky winner of the 2019 SPECTACULAR Toyota Car Raffle benefiting Torrance Education Foundation. Yuka’s ticket #4494 was pulled from the drum on Saturday evening, May 4th, during our Silver Anniversary Gala – Celebrating 25 Years of Giving.
Yuka designated her purchase to support Towers Elementary School, where both her kids are enrolled.
Yuka and her family will shortly be carpooling, running family errands, taking summer road trips and enjoying every other family activity and chore in their gorgeous new LEXUS NX300h Hybrid SUV. This donation to Torrance Education Foundation is a testament to the generosity of Toyota Motors North America, which has been a steadfast donor and supporter of Torrance schools for decades, and to South Bay Lexus, our 2019 Car Raffle partner dealership.
Torrance Education Foundation is deeply grateful to all the families, teachers, and others whose purchase of Car Raffle tickets has raised more than $60,000 for TUSD students and schools.
We also want to send a shout out to all our TEF Ambassadors, who coordinated Car Raffle tickets sales at all 31 TUSD schools.
